Special Olympics Thanks Thorndale Volunteer Fire Company

On Monday May 14, 2012, members of the Special Olympics for Chester County attended the monthly meeting of the Thorndale Volunteer Fire Company to express their appreciation for the use of the fire company banquet hall for the dances they hold during the year. Athletes Lindsey Madden, Stephanie Amway, and Justin Grimley presented a plaque of appreciation to Kirk Smith, the banquet hall coordinator, and to mick Arnold, president of the fire company. The athletes were accompanied by their coaches Joan Grimley, Dale Amway, and Angie Robinson.
The Thorndale Volunteer Fire Company proudly accepts this plaque from the athletes and we look forward to a continued relationship with the Special Olympics organization for years to come.
