Join us today for the Thorndale Volunteer Fire Company 3rd Annual CRUIZ IN!

"CRUIZ IN" for some fun!! Join us this Sunday, September 21st from 12:00 noon to 4:00 PM rain or shine for our 3rd Annual "CRUIZ IN" car show! This event is hosted by the Thorndale Volunteer Fire Company in association with the Chester County Antique Car Club and is open to the public. Enthusiasm is soaring and confidence is high that this event will be awesome!

Last year we had OVER 70 cars in attendance and this year looks like another fantastic display will be on hand for your viewing pleasure! This is a FREE event so bring the whole family and let the kiddos enjoy some of the rich history of this country from the automobile industry! There will be plenty to see. There will also be great food, music, a 50/50 and prizes will be raffled off, so enter for you chance to win some very cool items that have been donated by the local businesses of Thorndale. Some of the items won in the past were a Makita cordless drill, gift cards to the Thorndale Inn, four free greens fees for the Ingleside Golf Club and A Day At The Car Spa donated by Brian Hoskins Ford and valued at over $150.00!

The weather looks to make this Sunday an awesome day, so please don't miss out! Also on display will be our own very first fire engine, the 1939 Chevy, which was purchased from F. Hoffman a local Chevrolet dealer in Coatesville for $669.00. The 1939 Chevrolet pumper has an open cab, 250 gallon per minute pump, and holds 200 gallons of water. This pumper is a work in progress to fully restore it to its original glory, so donations are being accepted and ALWAYS appreciated!
