By Thorndale Fire Company
September 10, 2016

“Committed to serving our community,” is the motto all of us at Thorndale Volunteer Fire Company continue to strive for. As our community has continued to grow, our ability to obtain sufficient numbers of volunteers to respond to emergencies has decreased. In response to the decreasing volunteers, Caln Township and Thorndale Volunteer Fire Company have recognized and worked diligently together on ways to make sure there were personnel available for emergency responses. Starting in January 2016, Thorndale Volunteer Fire Company has added an additional Firefighter/EMT during the daytime hours to respond to any emergencies that can occur. Adding this second Firefighter/EMT not only benefits the fire company but greatly benefits the residents, businesses and visitors to Caln Township.

The three members pictured below have been a huge asset in filling the second Firefighter/EMT position and ensuring our community receives the best service possible. We cannot begin to thank not only these featured members but all of our members for their outstanding efforts in protecting the residents, business owners, and visitors of Caln Township. Please join us in thanking all of our members for their hard work and dedication to not only the Thorndale Volunteer Fire Company but to the community.
