Thorndale Volunteer Fire Company has always received a tremendous amount of support from out community and today was a day for us to pay some of that support back.

This weekend two groups of young women from CASD traveled to Wildwood, NJ to compete in the TIA (Tournament Indoor Association) Atlantic Coast Championship. The middle school group was competing at this event for the very first time and brought home the Gold Medal for Scholastic Color Guard Middle School. The High School Team also known as Steel Spirit also brought home the gold medal for Independent Color Guard Intermediate A Division.

After their wins this weekend Thorndale Volunteers along with Wagontown, Coatesville, Modena, Keystone Valley, West Caln PD, Coatesville PD, Caln PD and Valley PD gave them a light and sirens parade down 82 from the Hotel to Lincoln Highway and all the way to the High School where they were able to meet with their parents and loved ones.

Once again we would like to Congratulate both Teams for a job well done.
