On Friday Night 8/25/17 at 22:39hrs Station 38 along with Ambulance 41 were dispatched to N Bailey Rd and Raye Rd for an accident. Initial reports were of a vehicle off the roadway into a telephone pole. Chief 38 made the response and arrived first and confirmed the report. Rescue 38, Traffic 38 and Utility 38 along with several Fire Police Officers also made the response. Rescue 38 responded directly to the accident scene and provided lighting. The driver was already out of the vehicle and was being evaluated by Ambulance 41. Fire Police along with Traffic 38 and Utility 38 shut N Bailey Rd down between Raye and Edge. Due to the damage to the pole PECO was notified and asked to respond also.

Millers Towing arrived and removed the vehicle just as PECO was arriving to check on the extent of the damage. Due to the severity the roadway was closed for an extended period of time. Crews were able to place barricades and cleared the scene a short time later.

As Rescue 38 was clearing the scene and returning to station they were alerted to a second call at a church on 17th Ave in Caln Township for an Elevator Malfunction. The Rescue and Chief arrived a short time later and found that everyone was out and no issue and were cleared a short time later.
