On April 30, 2019, the Coatesville Area Senior High School, Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) Club, held their annual Mock Crash for the Seniors and Juniors of the High School.

The Mock Crash was set up to educate the Students of what could happen when driving and making destructive decisions, like texting while driving or drinking alcohol while driving to name a few.

Members of the SADD Club participated as actors, as the Senior Class watched outside, and the Juniors had the event streamed into the school.

Our members arrived on scene with a two vehicle accident, involving teenagers who were texting and driving. There were two "Fatalities" and several victims trapped. The victims were extricated by the First Responders, packaged by EMS and assisted to the awaiting ambulances. The Students were able to see and hear what an actual accident scene is like.

When the Mock Crash ended, all of the Students met in the Auditorium, to listen to a young man who suffered a traumatic brain injury due to an auto accident and the impact it has had in his life.
