Large Compost Pile Fire

Thorndale Fire Company, May 09

At 5:20 hours Station 38 was alerted to the area of Kings Hwy and Bondsville Road for an unknown fire. Chief 38 responded and was advised that flames could be seen in the woods to the south of the location but was unsure what was on fire. Station 38 was initially dispatched for a smoke investigation outside, report of black smoke coming from unknown source on back patio. CCDES upgraded to a building fire response with reports of fire in Apartment 119, but it was unknown what was on fire.

No Caption Working House Fire In Downingtown

Thorndale Fire Company, January 04

Around 10:30 hours Station 38 was dispatched to assist the Downingtown Fire Department with a house fire with possible entrapment in the 100 block of Bradford Ave. Chief Law from Station 45 arrived on the scene and reported smoke showing from the "Alpha" side of the building. Working Fire Assist to Downingtown

Thorndale Fire Company, December 29

Short after 22:30 hours, Station 38 was dispatched to assist stations 45 & 46 with a building fire. Assistant 45 arrived on location to find a 2.5 story twin with fire showing from division 2 and 3. Engine 38 arrived as the 3rd due engine, deploying a secondary hose line assisting with fire attack on division 2 and 3 of the structure.
