Working Fire in Brandywine Homes

Thorndale Fire Company, May 06

Just after 5am Station 38 was dispatched along with the first alarm building assignment to the Brandywine Homes section of Caln Township for a possible house fire. Thorndale Fire Company, May 03

Just before 18:00 hours, Station 38 was alerted to the Royal Farms for a possible vehicle fire. Assistant 45 (Alert FC) was in the area and reported the engine compartment on fire. Prior to the arrival of the fire company, the vehicle owner and bystanders moved the vehicle away from the fuel pumps and attempted to extinguish the fire with available Dry-Chem Extinguishers. BBQ Grill Fire in the Fairways

Just after noon, Station 38 and Engine 76 were dispatched for the BBQ grill fire in the Fairways Section of Caln Township. Engine, Deputy and Assistant 38, along with Caln Township Fire Marshal's FM39A, B and C all responded moments after dispatch. At 12:59, Thorndale and Caln Township firefighters were alerted to a vehicle fire in the parking lot of The Shops at Wedgewood. Engine 38 responded with a crew of six, along with Deputy 38 and Assistant 38, arriving to find a vehicle in the drive lane with flames engulfing the entire front of the vehicle.
