BBQ Grill Fire in the Fairways

Just after noon, Station 38 and Engine 76 were dispatched for the BBQ grill fire in the Fairways Section of Caln Township. Engine, Deputy and Assistant 38, along with Caln Township Fire Marshal's FM39A, B and C all responded moments after dispatch. The Shops at Wedgewood Vehicle Fire

At 12:59, Thorndale and Caln Township firefighters were alerted to a vehicle fire in the parking lot of The Shops at Wedgewood. Engine 38 responded with a crew of six, along with Deputy 38 and Assistant 38, arriving to find a vehicle in the drive lane with flames engulfing the entire front of the vehicle. Company Responds to Serious Automobile Accident.

On Thursday January 8, 2026 at approximately 11:30 AM Thorndale Fire Company was dispatched along with Minquas EMS and Alert Fire Company to the intersection of Lincoln Highway and Thorndale/Marshallton Road for an automobile accident reported with entrapment. Working Fire Assist in West Brandywine

On December 27th at 22:25 hours Engine 38 was dispatched as part of the first alarm assignment to N. Hawthorne Drive to assist the East Brandywine Hospital with a reported house fire. First arriving officers on scene found a two-story, single-family dwelling with heavy fire showing from both the first and second floors. A working fire dispatch was immediately requested.
