As schools begin to go into the summer break teachers at the Stanley K. Landis Building, part of the CCIU Campus at 1530 Lincoln Highway, asked Thorndale Fire Company to participate in a "Water Day" event.

Volunteer and Township Career Firefighters used the engine's deck gun to wet down students and educators alike as part of the event.
