On Sunday September 16, 2012, the Chester County Fire Police Association (CCFPA) hosted a state meeting of the Pennsylvania Fire Police Association at Lionville Fire Company. As part of the day's activities, CCFPA arranged for a display of traffic units to be set up in the parking lot two hours before the meeting started. Nineteen units, including five from Montgomery and Delaware Counties, were on display. Thorndale's Traffic 38 was part of the display. We also had our variable message board set up for the day.

Each traffic unit was opened and available for inspection. The display showcased a wide variety of units and the various equipment and supplies that each unit carries. Well equipped traffic units and signage are an integral part of traffic control resources that fire police need when responding to emergency scenes. The display gave our Chester County Fire Police the opportunity to share and to see what other fire companies are using.

The traffic unit display was a huge hit at the meeting. Thank you to all who came out and shared your ideas!

Units: Traffic 2, Traffic 62, Traffic 3, Traffic 73, Traffic 5, Traffic 39, Traffic 23, King of Prussia Traffic 47, Traffic 49, Utility 35, Traffic 36, Delco Traffic 45, Traffic 54, Newtown Square Traffic 41 and Traffic 38.
