| On Friday February 2, 2007 Thorndale Fire Company along with VA Fire Department was dispatched to a Cable Pulling Machine on Fire. On arrival the cable-pulling machine was smoking and energized. Further investigation found that it energized with DC current from the unit's battery. After making access to the battery compartment we found a battery terminal touching the cover. A worker on the scene disconnected battery. |
