On Thursday morning 4/28 around 10:40am Engine 38 was dispatched along with Station 37 to the 200 block of Oaklyn Rd in East Fallowfield Twp for an Oven Fire.

Deputy 37 arrived on scene first and took command. There was an active fire in the oven that was contained. The fire was extinguished and Engine 38 was ordered to place a positive pressure fan in service at the front door on arrival while Engine 37-1's crew went to the basement to secure the breaker for the oven. Once that was done the crew from 37 removed the oven from the home to avoid any further issues due to the damage done to it. Crews were on scene for approx 15 minutes clearing the smoke from the house and making sure there was no extension and everything was secured.
