On Friday 6/24/2016 Engine 38 traveled to St Joseph Catholic Church to once again do a stand by for them for the fireworks. The Engine parked behind St Martha's Manor which is next door to the fair and stood by while the fireworks were being fired. While they were going off crews were keeping a watchful eye to make sure no embers or other burning debris fell on any nearby buildings or area's that would be of concern. Once the show was over crews checked again with flashlights to make sure nothing was smoldering or burning in the area. Nothing was found and it was a very successful and exciting fireworks show once again.

Several of the Member's also were able to have family attend and watch with the firefighters and even watch from on top of the truck. It was a fun night but most importantly it was safe and there were no issues while on location.

Thank you to St. Joseph Catholic Church for having us on location again. Looking forward to it again next year.
