Thorndale Volunteer Fire Company is having a virtual fire drill on Thursday, April 9th at 3:15 PM and invite you to join us!

What’s a virtual fire drill you ask? It is an excellent opportunity for you and your family to discuss fire safety and come up with an evacuation plan.

The way a virtual fire drill works is pretty simple – set an alarm on your phone for 3:15 PM on Thursday, April 9th. Once the alarm sounds, immediately go outside and enjoy some fresh air and some sunshine. Once you get back inside, gather as a family and discuss the importance of fire safety and the best evacuation plan(s) for your household.

We want to encourage you to utilize this time at home in the best way possible and fire safety should be a top priority in every household.

As always, pictures are encouraged! While you’re outside during the virtual fire drill, take a selfie/family photo and post to your social media sites – be sure to include #TVFCVirtualFireDrill in your post – and also send your photo to Info@thorndalefirecompany.com.

We look forward to seeing your posts and photos and are always here to answer any questions you and your family may have!
