Santa Claus to Visit Caln Township on Saturday December 10th

W we received word from the North Pole that Santa Claus still wants to visit his friends in Caln Township as he has done in years past. He will visit us on Saturday December 12th in the morning starting at 8:30 am and if there is inclement weather that prevents us from bringing him around, the rain date will be Saturday December 19th.

We had a Zoom meeting with Santa's Planning Staff and they have asked that a few safety precautions take place to help keep Santa, his Firefighter Elves, and all of you safe during his visit. Here's what was requested:

- Santa will not be bringing along those delicious candy canes fresh from the North Pole for the Firefighter Elves to hand out, so no candy canes this year.

- Please do not approach the fire engine, wave and say your holiday greetings from your front porch or the sidewalk (Santa has very good hearing and will be able to hear you). We will be traveling slowly and will stop for photos, however Santa will not get down off the fire engine nor is anyone allowed up on the fire engine with Santa for pictures.

- We will not be collecting any gifts or donations. While we appreciate the bake goods, tasty treats, and donations we typically receive, we simply cannot accept them for safety reasons. If you would like to make a monetary donation to the fire company, please mail it to the station or use the Paypal link on the fire company webpage.

Make sure you listen for the sirens on Saturday December 12th, it might just be Santa Claus!!!
