On Friday August 19, 2022, Career Firefighter Tom Yervelli and Fire and Life Safety Educator Kim Mattson, received training from the Red Cross on how to install Bed Shaker Alarms.
The Thorndale Fire Company and the Red Cross have formed a partnership to help provide Bed Shaker Alarms to those that are deaf or hard of hearing.
If you are in need of an alarm, please contact the station or the Red Cross.
This is free of charge. Smoke detectors will be provided as well.
