Fire Prevention Week 2022 has begun. Career Firefighter Tom Yervelli and Fire Prevention Officer Kim Mattson attended the Lil Rosebuds School on 17th Ave. There were 45 students in attendance to learn about fire safety and to see Rescue 38. Career Firefighter Kyle Vaughn, Firefighter/EMT Regina Solecki, and Fire Prevention Officer Kim Mattson attended the Child and Career Development Center on Lincoln Hwy. There were 400 students and teachers in attendance to also learn about fire safety and to see Engine 38. CFF Vaughn put on his gear and showed the students what a firefighter looks like wearing an air pack. Thank you to both facilities for having us.
