This 2002 Spartan New Lexington Custom Rescue Pumper is a dual-purpose piece of apparatus with capabilities to respond to structure fires or vehicle extrications. It has a 660-gallon water tank with a 30-gallon foam cell and can pump 1750 gallons of water per minute. It has a 30 KW PTO generator which powers vehicle mounted quartz lights and a light tower. It carries one 1" trash line, three pre-connected 1¾" attack lines, one 3" leader line with a gated wye, and 5" supply hose.
It also features a Hurst Octo-Flow PTO Power System, which can simultaneously supply six pre-connected Hurst rescue tools. Other equipment include a high rise bag, roof saw, chain saw, K-12 saw, electric positive pressure fan, two portable Hurst motors, two Hurst combination tools, a Hurst Transformer spreader, a Hurst Extractor cutter, five Hurst rams, Automatic External Defibrillator (AED), medical equipment, rope rescue equipment, water rescue equipment, a Thermal Imaging Camera (TIC), numerous hand tools and miscellaneous firefighting and rescue equipment.
The unit is also equipped with a Mobile Data Computer (MDC) that allows the responding personnel to have all the updated information from the 911 Communications Center while responding to an incident, as it is occurring. This unit responds first out to auto accidents and technical rescues.
