The Campus Makes Generous Donation to Thorndale Fire Company

On July 8, 2026 the Thorndale Fire Company and Caln Township Professional Firefighters participated in the Campus' annual Hero's Day. The campers were provided the opportunity to see the newest addition to the Fire Company's apparatus fleet, Squad 38, that was placed into service just prior to the event. The event gave the campers a chance to set inside the fire truck and see all the equipment that is used as part of the fire service. The campers asked various questions about firefighting and were able to interact with the firefighters learning more about what they do each day. At the end of the Hero's Day event, campers and members of the Campus staff surprised the firefighters with a generous donation of $11,300.00 to be used toward purchasing new equipment, continued training and fire prevention efforts. The Thorndale Fire Company is grateful for such a generous donation and appreciates the thoughtfulness of our business partners in the township.
